Construction Lead / Equipment Operator

About the role

Wallaby Homes builds and remodels across Middle Tennessee and installs precast concrete pools. We're growing and need a hands-on lead who can run jobs, run equipment, and keep projects moving — working directly with the owner.

What you'll do

• Run the day-to-day on pool and construction sites and keep the schedule moving
• Operate a skid steer and mini-excavator for site prep, excavation, grading, and backfill
• Help set precast pool shells with our crane crews
• Coordinate subs, deliveries, and materials, and solve problems on site
• Move equipment and materials between jobs

What we're looking for

• 3+ years in construction, sitework, or excavation
• Confident on a skid steer (mini-excavator a big plus)
• Valid driver's license and a clean-enough record — you'll drive company trucks and tow trailers
• Reliable, shows up, takes ownership, and can lead a small crew
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a big plus
